The Prohlada Art Center team is comprised of licensed restorers with extensive experience. Some of our restoration projects include: St. Nedelya Temple Sofia (iconostasis and gilding), St. Archangel Michael Temple, Etro Pole (icon restoration, iconostasis, murals) and more.
Handmade frames
Handmade frames for paintings, mirrors, tapestries, and more with in-house production. Our frames cannot be found elsewhere but our studio.
Gilding
Prohlada Art Center applies the traditional methods of gilding surfaces for primed wood (for icons) as well as for exterior gilding of church domes and various ornaments and details.
Value and Authenticity Consultations
We offer consultations on authenticity, dating, technology, value, school, and authorship of paintings, icons, antiques, and murals. We issue Certificates of authenticity as well as Certificates of value and authorship of antiques and fine art.
Copies of paintings and icons
The studio has specialists available for making copies of murals, iconostases for newly built temples, and also copies of antique frames.
